CRNE Exam Prep Guide
CRNE exam or Canadian Registered Nurse Exam consists of multiple choice questions to ensure that nurses meet an acceptable level of competence before beginning to practise.
Examination Length and Format
There are about 200 multiple-choice questions on the exam.
Question Presentation
Some questions are presented as independent and some are presented within cases. Case-based questions include a set of three to five questions associated with a brief health-care scenario.
Success in CRNE depends on (1) your knowledge of the nursing principles and content, and (2) your ability to apply this knowledge, in the context of specific health care scenarios on the CRNE.
