The sad story which is not part of this report is that the trend of nurses who are passing the board exam is tremendously decreasing; and the volume of the examinees yearly are increasing leading to increase in population of unlicensed nurses in the Philippines.

But this scenario is not the worst problem of Filipinos who acquire a nursing degree would have to face, according to one of the official of Nursing Review Centers in the Philippines. The real problem lies on how these nursing degree holder can have a job. Considering that different nursing positions in the country is already loaded, in fact; hospitals is flooding with nurses.

"There is no job vacancy for the new batch of nurses."

And if these nurses decided to work abroad, their credentials will not be sufficient since employers abroad demand for a certain number of years as a work experience and people who hold master degree nursing are priorities.

No work in the Philippines, No work Abroad.

Filipino Nurses had no choice but to apply for a lower position just to have a job and earn for the sake of their family.

We all hope that the newly elected President with his new set of cabinet members will formulate a solution for this problem of nurses in the Philippines.

187,000!!!. This is the recent figure of jobless Filipino nurses. A very huge number.

We, at Online Nursing Classes believe that the Philippine government will not forsake these nurses.

All we can do is to hope, and pray. . .
